Tentative Schedule of M.P.A. Courses

The tentative schedule, as of May 1, 2013, of M.P.A. courses follows.  The schedule may change as circumstances necessitate.*  Most courses are taught in the evening on the Dahlonega campus.

POLS 7200 or POLS 7600 were prerequisites for many of the other courses in the curriculum, but, in most cases, the prerequisite requirements no longer apply.  However, it has been difficult to expunge the abandoned prerequisite requirements from BANNER.  If you run into a prerequisite problem when you attempt to register on BANNER, please call Susan Perry at the Graduate School office (706-864-1543), and she will help you.  However, a student should not enroll in POLS 7890, "Public Management," the capstone course of the program, until he or she has completed or nearly completed his or her other core courses.

If you would like to refer to the university's academic calendar, which shows starting and ending dates of semesters and sessions, deadlines for withdrawing with a passing "W" mark, etc., please visit the Academic Calendar page.

     * Important disclaimer:  Any schedule of courses must be understood to be tentative, in that university authorities reserve the right to cancel courses because of inadequate enrollment, the need to staff other necessary functions, etc.  On a semester-to-semester basis, the best way to ensure that the course you want to take will not be canceled is by pre-registering for it.
